Story
Welcome to Camp Wizby VT. We are on the site of the former Gaysville Children's Camp. This land, its woods, river and trails as well as the buildings are dear to me and have always been a restorative refuge. It is my aim to share it so that others can come experience the simple and natural rejuvenating power of this sacred place. We offer our communal spaces to our community to host creative/healing workshops for free. For those who want to stay - we have two cabins, available via hipcamp and airbnb or through this website via email. Our guests, who we lovingly refer to as our “Campers,” can have access to a common outdoor kitchen area, a stunning stone firepit set in a meadow (great to view the stars from), they can hike our extensive trails, or swim from one of our beaches along a mile of riverfront property. We are a registered non profit in Vermont and have applied for 501C3. Thanks for checking in and we look forward to meeting you someday soon.
